“Our European company GEOX, the largest customer in the European Union, prior to the EU’s anti-dumping duties on leather shoes in China, reached a maximum of 1.5 million pairs when we placed orders, and then fell to less than 1 million pairs. Now, GEOX’s transfer orders We have returned to our hands and this year's order volume has increased by 70% compared to the same period of last year. In addition, there are some small EU customers who have previously stopped placing orders with us because of anti-dumping. Now they are coming to negotiate again. Wang Hailong said.

Wu Liming, head of the Kangnai Group's International Trade Department, also said that although the cost of raw materials and labor increased, coupled with exchange rate fluctuations, the export quotation for shoes has risen differently this year, but because EU buyers have reduced their anti-dumping duties. Burden, some customers are still looking back.

Guo Weiwen, secretary general of the Guangdong Footwear Federation, also stated that the EU cancelled the anti-dumping duties on Chinese shoes. Buyers not only saw a corresponding reduction in costs, but also more importantly the stability of the policy. At least it could be expected that the European Union will not be in the next period of time. Anti-dumping on Chinese leather shoes will increase the confidence of Chinese purchases.

Since April, these buyers have been hesitant to order that part of the order. Previously, the products involved in the shift to Southeast Asia as a result of evading anti-dumping duties were redeployed. Compared with shoe manufacturing companies in Southeast Asia, our footwear industry still has strong competitiveness in terms of production technology, efficiency, and quality.” said Guo Weiwen. .

In recent days, China's major shoemaking bases have increased their export orders to Europe. According to news from Shushan, the capital of China’s western capital, the EU orders held by major companies in the footwear industry have increased by about 80% year-on-year. After the EU's anti-dumping duties were lifted, China's shoe companies had a chance to breathe in the event of rising costs. However, the Ministry of Commerce and relevant footwear associations are reminding companies that they must seriously study the EU's laws and regulations on the export of leather shoes, standardize their own business practices, abide by industry rules, and create a favorable environment for Chinese shoe manufacturers to export.
