Sino-Japanese Ink Painting Exchange Exhibition

Sino-Japanese Ink Painting Exchange Exhibition To promote oriental culture and promote exchanges between Chinese and Japanese artists, the “China-Japan Ink Painting Exchange Exhibition” co-sponsored by the Hengyuan Xiangxiang Art Museum and the Japanese No Strings Club opened the curtain at the Hengyuan Xiang Xiangshan Art Museum, No. 686 Jiujiang Road. A five-day period. This exhibition invited four famous Japanese ink painters Yamada Daisaku, Takanori Keiichiro, Suzuki Rikage, and Bin Zhong Yan Yan and Chinese painters Chen Peiqiu, Chen Qi, Chen Ming, Huang Azhong, Le Zhenwen, Zhang Yuren, Wang Jiafang, Zhang Chi, He Wei, Hu Wei and others participated in the exhibition and exhibited more than 80 pieces of masterpieces to jointly interpret Chinese and Japanese artists' understanding of modern ink painting.

Japanese ink painting is deeply influenced by the Chinese ink paintings of the Song and Yuan dynasties, but it is also different from the Chinese Song and Yuan ink paintings. It has created a style of Japanese ink and wash painting with profound Zen. The works displayed in this exhibition have a strong modern style. They use inks to express themselves freely, have clear lines, are fresh and simple, and are full of expressive power. Yamada's "Static Rain" uses a simple line and indifferent ink color to express the rhythmic color sense. Nakajima Kaichiro's "Angkor Tale Fantasy" portrays the mysterious and dreamy Angkor Wat in shades of ink and introduces the elements of Western painting into the field of ink painting. Suzuki Ryuyue's work, "The Word of God in the Ink of God," is not bound by tradition. It has a unique structure and integrates humanistic thinking. The image of “Hidden City Xia Hui” by Bin Zhong Yan Yan left a great deal of space on the screen, revealing the Zen contained in the ink painting and inspiring people's imagination. In this exhibition, the Japanese artists' use of ink and ink and their rich performance techniques are worthy of reference by Chinese painters. The holding of China-Japan Ink Painting Exchange Exhibition will also further promote the inheritance and development of ink painting. According to Chen Ming, director of Xiangyuan Art Museum of Hengyuan Xiangxiang, in the spring of next year, he will move to Japan to tour the exhibition and try to keep this exchange as a communication mechanism for a long time.
